Photograph the pile. Get records back.
Report cards from the year before you pulled them out. Certificates from camps. A diagnostic report from three years ago. The learning is documented already, in a box, in no order, which is worth nothing to the person asking for a portfolio.
Photograph each page, pick them out of your camera roll, or drop in a PDF. One school year in the pile means you set the date once.
what lands in your records
Every graded line and every date, as written. Nothing summarized into something tidier than the page, nothing invented to fill a gap.
Nine documents out of a real shoebox came back as eighteen drafts. Seventeen landed on the right subject with no correction. The one it was unsure about, it flagged instead of guessing.
Scans are deleted once you have reviewed them. The word-for-word transcription stays, so every number can be traced back to the page it came from.

Minutes you state are taken as fact. Minutes you did not state get flagged rather than invented, so no total is padded with a guess.

Drafts sit and wait. You fix a date, split the minutes, or throw it out. Approving is the only thing that writes a record, and no setting turns that off.

It prints on paper somebody else will accept.
Hours by subject, attendance, the book list, and a summary in plain language. Per child, for whatever date range the person asking named.

It holds children's records, so it behaves like it.
No third-party fonts, no analytics, no advertising pixels, including on this page. Your archive exports in full and deletes in full.
